I'd bet $1,000,000 the Ultimate patch is a fake. I've owned three different one in my day and others I've seen have never had logos, only parts of "Cardinals" or nameplate letters or jersey numbers. The stitching on the patch looks horrible too.

No kidding?Glad I missed it then, definitely would have fooled me, I'm no expert on detecting fakes though.Stitching looks good to me.

Zoom on the photo and look at the underside of the "I" leading into the "N" in Cardinals. Most of the blue stitching is missing. The whole thing just doesn't look "right" to my eyes either. I'm no expert, but I do collect a lot of these items, and it doesn't look as crisp as it should, it just looks sub par to me...

Good eye, I looked closer at it, and part of the blue stitching is missing there like you said. Now, anytime I want to bid on any of those cards I'm going to be second guessing myself if they are legit or not.I thought UD did put some of the rarer logo patches in this set, but I could be wrong on that.

It COULD be legit. As I said, I'm no expert. Just my two cents. There were some nice patches in Ultimate that year for sure. If it's out of a new product I have no problem bidding, but when it hits well down the road and isn't consistent with other stuff I've seen (as is the case here), it makes me take a step back and do some homework. I almost got burned on a fake Pujols patch card back when I was starting to get into nice stuff, which was a learning experience. Always happy to offer an opinion if you ever need one. I'm not the fake patch guru, but I do look at a lot of what is out there on a regular basis.

On my way to the game! Anyone else going?
Fortunately I went last night. If I had gone to the game tonight instead I would have been PISSED. What a horrible performance. It's infuriating watching this team sometimes, especially when they showed how good they can be last night...

After receiving numerous message that the seller of the card was notorious for faking patches, I did some research, filed a claim and returned the card and got my money back. A couple months later it showed up on ebay AGAIN with this patch in it:

I contacted the person who bought it and asked them what the serial number was, as it wasn't stated in the listing. It was *shock* #4/20. I asked the buyer if it had a small white pinprick mark on the back, which it did. I told him to return it and get his money back. He did. It then got relisted again, still with the same patch. I decided to take matters into my own hands, which almost blew up in my face. I made sure I won the listing when it was auctioned off again. I paid for it and when I got the card confirmed it was the same card I bought with the fake patch the first time around. I contacted eBay to let them know it was the same card that had been faked previous, and that the seller needed to be banned again (he already had lost his previous selling account). When I filed a claim stating that the card was fake, it was escalated and sided IN FAVOR OF THE SELLER. I about crapped my pants when this happened. I fortunately got on the phone with someone at eBay who was able to reserve the decision and I got my money back. THE BEST PART is that I never returned the card, thus keeping it out of circulation so the seller couldn't fake it a third time.
