Brandon Wood with a 3 run bomb, his second.

Problem is he hit it against Carl Pavano. Wood has AAAA stamped on his forehead until he shows something in the regular season. Don't get me wrong. I would love to see him put up some numbers in the bigs.

After talking about Wood I had to go see how his bowman chrome auto's were doing. I was surprised to see the last two have gone for $31 and $40. They were selling on thepit over the winter at $15 per.

"You have Doolittle in your AFL top 10 prospects? You're dumb"
(paraphrased)

One of my favorite non-brewers.

Though he has plenty of power potential, Juan Miranda has a bigger obstacle to become the Yankees starting first baseman. Regardless, he hit his first homer of the spring today.

Speaking of Yankees, Brett Gardner continues to do nothing but hit: 2-2 in the leadoff spot with an RBI.

after going down last year in july, he adjusted his stance by lowering his hands giving him a more direct path to the ball. he finished out the minor league season at a torrid pace and ended up with a .291 avg w/ 31 dingers. in sept, once he got consistent playing time he hit .250 w/ 5 homers. i don't think he'll ever hit for a high avg and he'll always strike out a ton but .260 30 100 is not out of the realm of possibility
