Is Freeman following Heyward to Myrtle Beach this year? Interesting to watch those two move up in the system.....

Still looking for a comprehensive ST stat site, but I think Lorenzo Cain has walked like 6 times in about 16 plate appearences. THAT'S what I like to see.

Xavier Paul (2003 BDP) hit his 3rd double, 2nd triple and drove in his 10th run for the Dodgers. He's hitting .414 and so far I can't remember seeing a box score with him not doing some damage.

Too bad LA has no need for another OF at this point.

Jeff Niemann 4 more shutout innings to close out the Twins game. He's going to take the #5 spot, and I think it's a good idea. My take on the situation: Let Price put together a strong month or two in AAA, and as his call-up approaches, start shopping Sonnanstine for a bat. A platoon partner for Matt Joyce wouldn't be a bad thing, especially if he continues to be banged up. I really think Niemann has a bright future as a starter. The guy is huge, throws strikes, and has a good arsenal. Whether his future is in Tampa or elsewhere, he should be in someone's starting rotation. This isn't a knock on Price, but the extra time in the minors won't hurt him.

How NOT to make a team out of ST

Your team has a 1-run lead in the 9th on the road:

Eduardo Morlan (BS, 1)(L, 0-1) 0.0IP 3H 3R 3ER 0BB 0K 1HR

At least Manny Parra had a good day...

Casey Mcgehee is beasting. He hit his 3rd home run and is batting well over .300. To bad Bill Hall is coming back.

PS: I just looked up Mcgehee winter league stats...

Casey McGehee enjoyed an impressive Winter League season, topping all Cubs prospects in nearly every offensive category. The 24-year-old third baseman batted .300 and led Chicago farmhands in hits(74), doubles (10), homers (seven), RBIs (36), runs (35), walks (27) and games (67) while in the Mexican Pacific League

I was impressed by McGehee also, picked up a few blue refractors just in case.

Is the Tigers/Marlins game NOT available on mlb gameday audio?

Just saw he was from '05 Bowman Chrome. '05 BC/BCDP just keep on giving every year.

Wow! I saw that he went 3-5 the other day but I didn't know his numbers were that impressive. Thanks for posting it!

It is still only 13 AB's for Reddick. I mean I love him, but let's not get too crazy yet......
