Looks like there hasn't been any decor purchased since the house was built in the 60's. Gonna need some massive renovations inside unless a huge baseball enthusiast buys it simply because it was Stan's house.

That neighborhood is one of the nicer ones in the St. Louis area. When I was with the Rams, Kyle Turley lived there. Nice "old money" feel, not new cookie cutter suburbia.

I wonder when all the auto stickers will dry up for topps.

Kevin

Never. He probably passed away with a marker in his hand and a sticker board on his lap with a Topps rep screaming at him to keep putting pen to sticker.

In all seriousness, his recent autos are crap. They're not even legible. I saw one that was like a scribble or as if he just dropped the pen on the sticker.

Sad and they'll probably never go away.

What's so sad are the comments in this thread
The people making comments that Topps forcing Stan to sign until his death have no idea WTF they are talking about.
Go look at his twitter feed and read the posts around the time of his death to get a clue.

Musial loved to sign autographs. That story can be backed by anyone who ever met him while he was signing autographs. Musial would not just sign an autograph, he would interact with you, especially dealers who went to his office to get tons of items signed. He told stories, he joked, he laughed, and talked, I met him 1 time when I was 11 years old and he seemed to be one of the most humble men I have ever met in my life. I have been told numerous stories of people meeting him and him signing anything that you owned. Even though they charged for his autograph if you sent a letter to his company you would get an autographed postcard back in the mail.
