BV $40 sells for $282...and i thought i would snag it easily with my $138 snipe.

I had 2nd highest bid on ripken at $117
Does anyone know the difference between these?

I don't know the differences but I'm pretty sure I pulled a Jordan and Duncan back in the day for basketball. I'll have to try and find them!!! $$$$. I may have a Ripken still too.

Yeah, the Jordan is a 1K+ card easy.

They're three different base cards, so Griffey has three different Star Rubies /50. #137 is the one that just sold, and the other two are the Spring Fling and checklist cards.

I really wouldn't ever look at BV on inserts like that. Most big names or higher collected players sell for way above BV.

yea, i know better than to look at beckett bv for 90s inserts, they are way out of date on many of the SP superstars...which is why i bid $138 on a $40 bv...the sky is the limit on some of these...especially lately...it does seem that many of the 90s inserts have picked up a lot...but others have actually come down (93 refs seem to have come down a little). Nice biggio by the way
