Starlin Castro was a home run shy of the cycle. Now hitting .426 **cough** Chicago **cough**

I know he needs to get some abs in AAA, but he is tearing it up in TN.

With Darwin Barney being at Iowa, I see Starlin jumping straight up....Is that the wrong decision? Yes. Is that what will happen because the Cubs are stupid? Probably.

Theriot, Fontenot, and Baker are doing just fine so far. Why would they call up Castro?

If anybody, maybe Vitters to sub in for Aramis. :?

As a prospector we need more HYPE to drive up his prices, but the kid is really producing. Last year when the D-backs moved Parra straight to the majors from AA there was not enough hype to make much money except for the first day he was called up and hit a HR. That was the right decision for the D-backs at the time, he played good for a RC, but not for us prospectors.

AAA promotion would really be nice.

I bet you he's in Chicago before you can stop typing in all caps.

ALL caps! Give me a break!!! Only the title!! But there is always one.

Why is it there there are people who have nothing positive to say, but jump in people threads to make a butt of themselves. Thoughts about Starlin had nothing to do with how title is listed.

NP no longer have to see your silly post. #4 on my list

Why the rush? We've seen it time and time again that success in the minors doesn't mean they are MLB ready. Let him go through the process.

I definitely agree with this statement. Getting some AB's in AAA is a wonderful idea and I hope that the Cubs allow him to get some additional development. The Braves could have easily rushed Heyward, but they went through the process. There are some players that don't skip a beat, but rushing a young player who struggles in the bigs can really mess with their confidence.

Any rational answer to this question would be meaningless, seeing how we're talking about the organization that moved Big Z to the pen.

Probably after his autos come out and hurt the base values.

autos will definetely impact his base chrome, but heyward's have held thier own. anything over $10 for a base chrome is a good sell esp. if the buy-in is low. more then likely the buy-in for his base autos will be in the 40-60 range at release.

Hopefully he gets called to Chicago when the team needs him and no sooner or later. Like chashawk said Fontenot, Baker, and Theriot are playing decent as of now, and it doesn't make sense to bring him up.

To the comments about Z in the pen.. it is because there bullpen is 1-6 and blew 4 out of the 7 save chances they have had. They say its a temporary move, and its best for the team right now until we get some bullpen help either by way of a trade or in-house.
