I understand that a lot of it is opinions and the obvious but how could you know? I'm not sure if that really made sense but that was the best way I could get that thought out.
Idiots form businesses everyday without a shred of common sense, business sense, and lack of a business plan...no reason this hobby should be any different...so therefore these types of comments/opinions are expected.XdanX said:200lbhockeyplayer said:I have worked at one in the past and my one of my best friends owns an extremely successful shop.XdanX said:I kind of think its funny that people "know what you have to do" but they don't own a shop or have even worked in one. Wasn't trying to single you or anyone out, and to be honest i usually agree with most of your posts. Im sure some of the posts in this thread are from first hand experiences like your own but the majority are not.

I went the one of the 2 shops in town this weekend, and it is lacking to say the lease compared to Los Angeles shops.
i am planning on using what works in LA here... like Bid Boards, sell on eBay for customers.. stock older wax etc...
since i am in San Antonio, i am going to start with things like bumper sticker, license plate holders, magenets, window clings.. and cards of local teams and players.. and sell older wax from the rookie year lof local stars like 1989 Hoops (David Robinson)
