1. I too would be mad if some ******* from TMZ sent a text message to my cell phone asking about personal information that doesn't concern them

2. You have no idea why he is leaving his wife. Neither do I. Only he and his wife know. So how about we give him the benefit of doubt? Maybe she cheated on him. Who knows. To assume he just up and left his wife because she has cancer is wildly stupid

3. I hate the media

I'm not saying he is leaving her because she has cancer.

Then what exactly are you saying? It seemed that that is pretty much implied by your title and OP.

Seems like your title is certainly making a judgement.

Read it how you want I guess, all I am saying is it seems like horrible timing.
Leave your wife while battling cancer, seems like a ****** move to me.
I lost my Mom to breast cancer and I couldn't imagine my Father leaving her at that time in her life.
But that's just me.

Not sure how that could be taken as he is leaving his wife because she has cancer.
I was saying it is bush league to leave her while having cancer.

So you are saying he should stay with someone he doesn't love or care for just because she has cancer?

It worked out fine for Larry David! :D

Seriously, he has a right be to be ticked IF a member of the media did as he suggested, especially if it was about his divorce...

Maybe she just mentioned his ERA a little too much for his taste...

What kind of a starting pitcher even checks his phone for messages one half hour before perhaps the biggest game of the year?

Any that has an iPhone and uses it as his iPod, which I would bet is roughly 99% of them. (I figure Tim Wakefield is confused by the technology)

What if she was cheating on him? Cancer or no, do you then stay?

Why does everyone like to use "stay classy" so much?

It's from "Anchorman" and was Ron Burgandy's "sign-off"...

a forehead south of your moms belly button
lance armstrong left sheryl crow as she was being tested for cancer... "livestrong" and alone was his line i believe. no one knows why he left her. i do know he had several people applaud him throughout the year for dealing with his wifes situation and his ****** pitching. me personally i think the guy is a tool box for the way he acts when he is on the mound and this just solidifies my feelings that he is a arrogant *****.

I'm willing to bet that both want the divorce since, according to that article anyway, they both signed the papers. So what the hell good would it do for them to stick together if they don't want to? Because she has cancer? Yeah, that's who I would want hanging around if I was fighting cancer, someone who doesn't want to be there anyway and someone I probably wouldn't want there either. Gimme a break...........

And to the OP, way to rush to judgement not knowing ANYTHING behind the story. Stay classy!

If there is no love any longer, then there is no reason to stay with someone. the OP let his personal feelings get in the way and rushed to judgment waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy to soon. (of course, this is my opine).
