Never an excuse to bump an ump but the zone was crazy inconsistent during the game. Personally I think he will get more than 2 games as I feel the league will factor more than the incident with the ump (2 straight beans) and send a message to the redbirds.

The Cardinals are full of d-bags and are lead by the biggest d-bag of them all. Why in the world is Jason Motte Throwing TWICE at Ryan Braun? Pujols was accidentally hit (men on 1st and 2nd) and Motte then drills Braun in a tie game. Larussa After the game ws bragging that they were sending a message.

Seriously, I have NEVER seen a team more full of whiney, crying, bunch of ******* in my whole life. If you were watching on MLB Network, the announcers went off on the Cardinals about them being completely Bush League from the Manager on down. And I couldn't agree more.

skrip

One of the most truthful and accurate quotes of the year.

Not a fan of either team, but LaRussa is a jerk. Hitting Braun in the back was intentional. Go Brew Crew.

LaRussa last night: "that's fine! They want to throw inside at our best guy? Fine! I'll show them how to pitch inside like you're 'sposed to! Hey everyone, watch Motte show you how a decent pitcher controls it inside! Opps... Ah, forget that pitch, watch this oneawfuck... Um, we slipped?"

Put me in the Molina should ONLY get suspended for contact with the ump. People get hot, people get cranky; it happens.

am i blind or was that pitch right down the middle?

Pitch-Track showed that it was inside. It wasn't a strike, Molina didn't spit, and I'm trying to figure out why everyone is acting like Molina is the first guy to belly up to an umpire.

Good player, but P.O.S. on and off the field

My god, you guys are critical. He is not a POS off or on the field.

Oh, and to the guy who says he's a ****** because he has neck tats.. classy. Yadi won't say what they mean because they're too personal.

As for the opinion that they're whiney & ******, I still don't understand that.

I don't ever talk trash about anyone, on this board, or in real life, or a player, but when people make statements regarding a player without having anything to back it up, I have to ask why.

I didn't watch the game last night, except for like half of a half of an inning, and this is the first time learning about all of this. I was wondering why someone posted that Cubs fans are whiny little c***s on my FaceBook wall earlier.

Yes, the pitch was inside. Yes, Yadi was wrong for having any sort of contact with the umpire. Yes, he will be suspended for that.

Yes, there are a ton of idiots in this thread who are talking out of their ass. I don't even really want to comment on much of it because it's just repeating myself to the same stupid people about the same stupid things that we've been arguing about for years on here.

I'm right, you're wrong, that's just how it is with everyone concerning the National League Central and American League East (and most ignorant Philly fans).

My God the stupidity in this thread amazes me.

He's a hell of a catcher.

He'd be my first choice anyday although I'm really starting to like Lucroy more and more, I think he and Molina are brick walls behind home plate.

i also think larussa thinks we are all abunch of idiots.

Actually, he referred to the fans as exactly that last night after the game.

In just the first game alone, they complained about home plate lighting and stealing signs. What's not to understand?

Weird how it has me quoted as bowmanchromeandorr..

But if they did think the lighting was off & they were stealing signs, why not say something about it? Especially the lighting. I'm sure the lighting could be proved one way or another.

LaRussa has always been that way, really can't stand him as a manager. Do it his way or you'll get your ass traded.

Oops - quote fixed to give credit where credit is due.

MLB looked into the lighting and there was nothing wrong with it. 13 other teams didn't whine about it - 1 did. That seems like a legitimate reason to refer to the Cardinals as whiners.
