We were not discussing whether leaf stole anything, I was responding to the quote you made about "if allowing people back would turn away new members" and I was clearly stating no it wouldnt or doesnt turn away new members as if anything brings people closer together as we have great members here who watch out for each other. I brought the leaf threads up as those get ugly and tear people apart and if i was new reading those it would affect if i came back here or not.

You are comparing apples to oranges in this situation. Card companies get bashed on sports card forums. All the companies take a beating on these boards. It isn't like this is the only place it happens. That is what makes the situation different.

not only that but coastal situation happens more than people know or think and yes on other boards also.

It does happen on other boards butscanners are not allowed to dwell in any legit community on the net.

I just realized you said I participated in most of your contests. Sadly your facts are about as accurate as your business techniques Mr. Jonathan Nealey. I signed up to your site with what they call a disposable email, cloaked my ip, and logged into your chat room filled with children you were trying to impress with saying how much cash you have and sending them free gifts. I got creeped out and bounced.
Never once did I even jump in the conversation let alone one of your contests, this was around the time you were banning anyone who was talking about being ripped off while milking anyone who would believe you for anything left. I signed up cause word was you were ripping off kids and new collectors and I couldn't believe it, well looks like the truth finally came out. And threatening a veteran? Real class act. I wonder if the people around you know you act like this, you seem to be scared of them finding out. I would hate to see that happen to you.
I see you where banned while I was at comic-con. So I guess there is no need to speak about this anymore. Hopefully you stay gone.

..............Steven..dude I dont know you nor do I know what the deal was with all this crap...But please believe me when I say(refering to the highlighted portions above) if anyone ever tries to tell you shi$ like that again..Tell them whatever you damn well please and be sure to have a good laugh in their face as well..I too am a disabled veteran, 100% service connected and considered unemployable as well..I have been like this since I was very young and have been this way for almost 27 years and counting..I am a very well established pill popper(they always doctors have the best drugs) and as far as VA is concerned, there isnt a damn thing they can do about it(all my medical care is done through the local military hospital because of my wife)... But and this is a big but, if VA tries to go after you for anything at all, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take this one bit of advice...GO to your local DAV chapter and make them your proxy(SP) in dealing with the VA..wont cost you a penny and they pretty much know the in's and out's of the VA sytem...and dont ever be worried about being "turned in" in all my time and years dealing with VA, like voluntering(SP) and other means I've never seen nor heard of anyone being "turned in"...and please if you have any questions or anything at all..please feel free to email me a PM or post here..whatever you'd prefer..Later

Defame his character all you want. Better not deform it though. I'd think if you were threatening defamation of character charges, you should get it right.

I definitely would've let him type out his explanation in this thread or a separate one first before re-issuing the ban. It seems there are those affected that need closure and a thread started by Coastal would have provided that - as ugly as it could've been.
Well I don't know much about this whole thing but I just read this entire thread. I would have to say it sucks for anyone who was scammed & it would have been nice to hear coastals side, but if you ask me it would probably be full of lies anyways & nobody would ever know what really happened. So I think the best thing is prevention of anything like this ever happening from him again & I think it looks like that has already started on here & other sites as well. So I agree with the re- ban

I honestly don't think he would have EVER typed up a complete post on ALL the XXXX he has caused.
Although Coastal was a good guy in the beginning, giving away a ton of stuff on the boards here, you have done the right thing in banning him. With all the time he spent in this thread, he could have started a new one and posted all the reasons why he did what he did, how he did it and how he plans to rectify the situations that he can, but he kept putting it off.
In my experience, those kinds of people never end up actually posting what they say they will (or they do and it is full of lies).
I truly hope the people who signed up for this site because of this situation do decide to hang around and enjoy the community we have here. We are more than occasional scammer that sneaks back into our ranks and I hope they will realize that.
Your right , I did threaten defamation charges and contacted the sheriff where he lives . All this was AFTER he started to threaten me and kept emailing me when I asked him to stop . The guy is bad news , nothing more nothing less . I dont need to " deform his character " , he did that himself already .
I wasnt worried about him running and complaining to the VA or my state . My service history reflects my injuries and I have nothing to hide . The thing that got me is I refuse to take pain pills or something that would be me in a spot where I wouldnt be able to care for my two son's . My wife works 40 hours a week and I am home to care for them all day . I cant be all hopped up on pills , I would rather deal with the pain . Besides I would like to find a more healthy route that doesnt involve pills . I will make sure to go to the DAV and make them my proxy . I heard good things about them but havent reached out to them yet . Thanks for all the info , support and your service . Stay Safe !!
