There is a lot of undercurrent regarding this whole Fanbro thing. I vaguely remember the site, bit never paid attention to the fiasco apparently.

When he was banned here I set the ban to go for 18 months.
It has since expired and no further ban was levied.
If it comes out that he still owes people (and if he does it will) then a ban will go back up.
As for him insulting me, I'm a big boy, I can handle it.

He does owe people I assure you of this. For one he had a website that sold "points" so you can bid on auctions (which they shilled) on their website. They sold points up (and gave them out) until they shut it down, leaving people with nothing at all.
Check out alex_n he is only one of MANY who got ripped off. You should log his IP and send it out to all the forums so they can ban this clown also.

Coastal: Would you be willing to give an in-depth "Here's what happened"? I think it would do a world of good, even if it doesn't end up well in the end. At least get more of the story out there so everything can be somewhat understood.
I get that there's going to be no 100% fix, but there has to be some sort of insight that you can give.

Asking someone to close your account over this is fleeing. Address it, resolve as possible. Move on. Either here or somewhere else.
If it was a scam with well written terms of service, so be it. To each their own as to whether you decide to stand behind it for protection.
It sounds like you hammered FCB and Andrew for making money...honestly. And then it appears you misled people at the minimum to make money. It sounds hypocritical to me.
This is hardly an issue worth following you around as the internet never forgets...so if it were me...address it. Resolve it. Carry on.

It doesn't have to be at all.
Worst case scenario it was a straight out scam. Just be up front, say the what and why of it, a resolution if you feel necessary and that's it.
If people let their emotions get involved...so be it.
People sign up for dumb things everyday, people pay for stupid things based on hope...not logic.
As far as I am concerned, if the rules to the playing field were open and up front...buyer beware. If people threw caution (and their money) to the wind...it's up to you how you want to resolve it.
Anything illegal...well...you'll want to resolve it of course.

Don't forget to include the story about the forged Mantle and Ted Williams baseballs one of which failed PSA and the child you paid off to say positive things about your site over on BO after he was causing a stink. Wouldn't want to leave out little parts of this story.
