I got a email from Coastal this morning . He is explaining the issues he had with the site and why things between us got sour . He said he wants to try and work it out between us and also said he is trying to payback others . If I hear anything more ill post it here .

Coastal said he is trying to work with people . Also said he came here to make things better and not cause trouble . We have been talking and he ( and I ) have apologized for all the negitive stuff we said to each other . Chris , would you be able to unban him to allow him to talk to the people that feel he owes them stuff . He said its hard being unable to post on here .
He better not get unbanned that would be complete BS. He has your email and has since he ripped everyone off, its quite simple to use. He choose not to use it for the past year or 2. Maybe he should have thought about all of this while he was greasing these children up for $ while talking **** about this place. Dont fall for all the sweet talk, for christs sake someone called your veterans hospital, and more than likely it was this ******.

If he makes good on all legit claims, I'd let him back on the site. Require him to use his current user name, prevent him from doing deals on this site, and make him include a link to this thread in his signature.
If he made good on the claims a year ago before calling people veterans hospital, you have a great point. Sadly that bridge was crossed over a year ago.

nyc: I understand your sentiment... however - the constant disdain that you express for him is a good way to make him not want to work it out. The whole "We don't care if he makes good!" is probably going to make him say "Well, if it won't do no good - I won't do it."
So yes - we all get it. You don't like him. A lot of people don't like him. We want to tolerate him enough to allow him due process now that we have made SOME progress.

that was me that was turned in to the VA , at the end of the day ( how ever wrong it is ) I know who I am and what I did and nothing came about it . I made a TON of mistakes in my life time like most have . I was heavy into drugs and drinking in my teen years , got in trouble with the law . I was given a second chance by the police officer that arrested me . He made sure to go to court the day I had it and stuck up for me . Told the judge he believes I can do better ... You know what ??? I cut the BS and joined the United States Army . I met my wife and had two kids , the best thing that ever happened to me . Only because I was given a second chance . If I didnt have it I could be dead right now . Coastal is trying to make it right , no one says he needs to trade/sell on here . But you have to help him and give him the chance to make good on it . This is a community , we watch out for each other , make sure to tell people about people who are shady . It should be the other way around , if someone has fallen you should reach out and help them up ... thats just me ..
Thats honorable of you, but lets be honest. He wants back and you want your cash. You will get your cash and disappear and now we have to deal with him or his alias? And you are right we are a community, one of which asks not to deal with his kind.
I won't speak of this any further since its apparent I have been asked to shut up nicely (for your sake). But I just hope we won't have to hear about this ******* again. Because I am sure someone will out him ASAP since he isn't welcome.

Let it out . I always been a fan of honesty . Its not about the cash or me " disappearing " . I want the others that owed to be able to have a voice . There is a few members on this site that know me and know I am not like you are trying to put me off as .

I agree strongly with nyc. I will no longer be part of this site if coastal is allowed to come back after everything is squared up.

If I unbanned him it wouldn't matter.
He would be permanently marked so that no conversation he was in could be productive. It would be a very short unbanning.
The entire decision to let the ban expire was to see if we could get resolution for the people that got left out in the cold. Hopefully people that got made whole would remember that FCB helped make that happen and would stick around.

Is there any way to change the title of this thread? People who could care less about a steal/deal on Harper's Ginter auto sure are missing out on some informative (and epic reality TV-like) discussion here. Could call it "Goin Postal on Coastal"?
