Resident Piazza Fan said:A-Rod was easily the biggest draw at the Nov. 14 event. His appearance alone drew 400 ticket buyers, with autographs costing between $250 to $475.
Girardi and Chamberlain also pulled in a cool $50 to $130 for signing jerseys, bats and other sports items. Three former Yankee pitchers who threw perfect games — 1956 World Series hero Don Larsen, David Cone and David Wells — also signed autographs at prices ranging from $50 to $140.
At those prices, the event was still a great deal for fans and less money than you would pay for autographs in a store, Costello said.
Take the 2 bolded statements and that's a crock of shat if you ask me. $250-$475 is a cheap price for an Ariod auto? Maybe I better jack the price back up on my Arod 1/1 auto patch. ::facepalm::
