But the problem with the Yankees is they likely won't even let Refs play. They likely will open the season with Drew at 2B and not even give Refs a look. Terribly disappointing.

MLB teams aren't in the business of of irrationally refusing to play top talents in favor of washed up veterans. If Refsnyder has a hot spring and plays well in the minors, he will play this year if Drew stinks up Yankee Stadium. If Drew plays well, it's a good signing. If Refsnyder doesn't impress, then why should he be trusted with a starting position?

Guessing you don't follow the Yankees? They continue to plug in "washed up veterans" and refuse to give the rookies a solid shot. They will bring them up for a week or two and let them get 10 ab's and then send them back down. They need to show some confidence and say Refs is the starting 2B and Drew is the backup SS and 2B if one falters hard.
