Very sad news - my favorite Titan and one of the greatest Titans ever gone.

It's not common that a murder/suicide has a female perp, but it obviously happens.

RIP Steve.

WOW, I'm surprised just as much as the rest of you guys. I never really liked him all that much because he was always terrorizing the Steelers, but I did respect his game.

Very sad, RIP.

One of my biggest football memories was cheering for the Titans against the Rams. I remember that last play where he escaped tackles left and right and eventually completed a pass only to fall 1 yard short of winning.

Terrible terrible stuff.

I completely agree here.

My favorite Titan and second favorite Oiler of all time.

Air McNair will be sorely missed. Such a sad thing to happen on a day of remembrance.

The earth is a little less green today.

RIP Steve "Air" McNair.

Fixed that for you. If the touchdown had been scored, Tennessee would have had to for the two-point conversion to win. I highly doubt Fisher would have opted for that.

McNair was just phenominal in that game. That whole postseason was magical for the Titans. He was a wonderful player, and from what I've heard a good guy off the field as well. An awful day for his loved ones, his NFL family, and the local community. RIP, Steve.

I went to dinner, and just got back. I still can't really believe this. I always liked McNair, even enjoyed watching highlights of those insane numbers he used to put up in college. I seemed to end up with him on one of my fantasy teams every year. Truly a shock.
