StLouis Rams Jason Smith helping coach my kids flag football

I coach my kids flag football team and tonight St Louis Rams OT Jason Smith came out tonight and helped coach my kids during our teams flag football practice. The kids really enjoyed it and I think Jason had a good time as well. Jason took the time after practice to sign for all the kids. I saw a few of the other parents taking pictures as Jason was coaching and when I get a few copies of those I will post them here.

He is such a fine young man and quite the gentleman. I am going to be doing a custom of him and then he and his wife will come over to the house and have dinner with our family. I will keep you all informed when this happens.

Here is the team. I am the old man in the grey shirt. I am about 6' and you can get a feel for how big Jason is next to me.

Thank you. I coach 2nd and 3rd graders. No, I sent Jason and email and then he called me and we set it up last week. I then called my buddy at the Rams and he sent out some player cards for me to give to all the kids and have Jason sign. Last year Billy Bajema came out. I am waitign to hear back from a few other players. I will let you know if they get a chance to come out.

I live in St Charles, across the river from St Louis and about 10 min from the Rams HQ.

Thanks. They had a blast and the director for the YMCA came out too and had Jason sign a jersey for the Y. He is having it framed with pictures of the kids and placed in the main hall. I think they will really get a kick out seeign the picture in years to come.

That's great. I love to see professional athletes doing stuff like this. Now i'm gonna pick up some more of his RCs on ebay. :mrgreen:
