great story yes...but the guy who is doing it said Mariano is the greates BASEBALL PLAYER in the last ten years, come on now, i mean yes he is by far the best relief pitcher but not the best player.

You can make a case for best player. He basically has 1 pitch. He knows he's throwing it. The batter knows he's throwing it and everyone in the stadium knows he's throwing it and he's still getting you out. Not to many people can do that.
