The link to FCB should give the board some great free promotion. Any thoughts on what (if any) impact this kind of mainstream media attention could have on the card's ending price?

Unbelievable, an obviously intentional concoction by the baseball card company, creating fake scarcity as opposed to the scarcity of early 20th century tobacco cards, and a bunch of foolish bidders jump to their tune. What an absurd example of how things have gone awry these days. Still, kudos to the card company, as nobody is forcing anyone to buy the card.

There are a couple about the "fake scarcity." I don't know how its fake when there is only 1 of this card. Sure there are parallels, but the reason the legit people are bidding is because it is the Super.

Some people will never get prospecting.

This card will get to $20K. Will it ever sell though? Thats the issue. With this card getting so much attention there are tons of gameplayers involved im sure. Should have just let the offers come in.

Already been discussed by the OP who pulled it. The offers he was getting were nothing near this.
