His cards will experience an increase in demand during draft day. Thats a given. The question is how would they fair all winter long until April 2010? And what growth could they experience if he strikes out 17 in 8 IP?

The actual question to be considered here is how saturated will the market be at that time (draft) when EVERYONE decides to sell .. it will actually drive prices down to lower than they could/should be if one sold earlier ... happens every year around draft day and the weeks preceding and following ...

There aren't all that many cards of him to go around at present, especially autos. He has:

Sweet Spot - 260 "base" autos, parallels #d to 37, 32, 12 and 10.
USA - 50 auto patches, 20 Q&A autos, 175 'base' autos, 25 red auto parallels, 2 green auto parallels.
Ultimate Collection - 25 auto jerseys.

Unless I'm missing something, that's 648 total.

Considering the insane hype he's getting, I don't see these saturating the market, come June 9th.

I believe there are 5 variations of the Q&A /20 yielding a total of 100 if I'm not mistaken. Then you have the Timelines, and SP Authentic Letters.

I think listing them to end the night of day one would be prime.

Because with the ESPN coverage, and the 4000 replays on Sportscenter...that 24-48 window of the draft would be key I think.

Not to mention the unhealthy amount of media articles calling him the "Lebron" prospect of MLB.

That alone, will drive prices up. He has already been in Sports Illustrated as a feature [hype] article.

And even if the market is "saturated", the draft hype will draw an audience more than large enough to compensate.

Oops. Well, there's 105 SPA's, and I've heard there are around 300 Timelines. That would bring the total to (approximately) 1,133.

Still, that's a very low amount for a player who BA calls "baseball's LeBron".

I wish Razor could keep it that way, for their benefit and my own selfish benefit.

The other question is....

Out of the 1,133 autos, how many does Wossa own?

The only Strasburgs I've seen him buy are the Ultimates. Bballcardkid knows approximately how many of those he's bought.

5 for sure, possibly 1 more. 1 of these includes the 1/25 card.

I'm listing 2-3 days before the draft with probably another insane BIN/BO. I really like the look, so if it doesn't sell, oh well, I've got a sweet card to the colletion. Especially if he goes to the Nationals I think this (along with the other USA's) will have great eye appeal
