When an autographed Bowman Orange parallel #d to 25 outsells an un-autographed Chrome Red Ref #d to 5 by so much, it makes me think the Stras Bowman Red Auto 1/1 will indeed outsell the Superfractor currently up.

Apples to oranges.

The superfractor is one of the only, and the most important, iconic cards in our entire hobby. This is a variable that can only come in to play with supers. This is why the super will be the top dog in terms of collectability and value over all other paralells, including the 1/1 red auto.

Although I respect your opinion I have to disagree, as the autograph gives the red 1/1 a variable that the super is missing. Therefore, while I think the super has garnered outrageous media attention, if the red 1/1 auto gets pulled soon it too will get just as much (if not more due to the fact that all of those going for the super that lost out will now be going that much harder for this 1/1 auto) & will outsell the super.

would have been nice if mr lucky who got the red non auto 1/1 for peanuts, would have listed it as a legit auction, would be nice to know the true values of all the limited cards.

Personally, I'd rather have a red ref /5 than a non chrome auto /25... but the market says differently. To each his own I guess.
