Stupid pull at Houston TriStar

I hope BG will chime in here and correct me if I'm telling this wrong. But I was a bystander and may not have it just right. I'm at the Houston TriStar show at Marty's booth and I overhear BG trying to convince a guy to buy a case of Leaf Best of Basketball, I hear him guarantee to the guy that he'll make his money back. Guy buys it and they walk down to a nearby table. A minute or 2 later someone is celebrating. Guy pulled a Lebron Exquisite RC Auto.

Wouldn't surpise me at all.

He knows what cases have the best hits.... why not keep it with you... and take it to a card show and sell it to a guy instead of letting it get into the mix of the rest of the cases and let a random collector have a shot at it.

Actually, I offered to pay 400.00 for his case he opened if he didnt do well as no one had opened cases yet.. I figured once people started breaking the stuff would sell like gangbusters..the 3rd case had Lebron... Crazy pull!!!!

I did have to buy his 1st case back at 400 (which was probably worth 300)..

Needless to say, he didn't sell me that one back..... BG

The case was NOT sold by me..
Marty's sports cards sold his direct cases at the show..

I strongly suggest you not make statements which are lies (libelous)..

PS- I did not pack all this product out myself.. I made about 100 cases and did not pack that case personally... Not did I assign any particular cases onto any particular shipment...

Wish I coulda gone but the only reason I was even going to go was to get Patrick Beverley's auto and maybe D.J. Swearinger. Wasn't worth paying the $10 to park and the $8 or $9 to get in. Plus traffic!

It was good meeting you too and good luck picking some stuff up. I was actually carrying around a Razor 1/1 dual cut auto of Tiger and Earl Woods when I met you, didn't even think to show it off.
