I need a Gold Medallion now. Haven't seen one of those either.

Stu, do you collect Jamie Benn printing plate autos? I've got one listed on eBay, but would be willing to work something out in a trade or for cash (lower than the BIN of course). It would look much better in your collection than in mine. I busted 2 cases of 09-10 The Cup and this is the only Jamie Benn I have left that I didn't sell.

This completes the Donruss rainbow, the Ice Patch is an upgrade from the all white one I already have.

Member cfind got me into contact with a member on HI and was able grab this beauty. Thanks for the hookup!

I waited too long to put in a bid on that Benn/Modano Cup Shield. Went for less than I thought it would. :/

I have my eye out on that Ultimate Shield. The guy that ripped you off is bound to unload it on somebody, and that person will try and sell it. If I ever see it, you will be the first to know.

Benn's stuff has been climbing. Two of his rainbow cups /14 have gone over $150. I have two of them. Might have to part with one. One of his cup quad patches /10 sold for over $40 last night. I have 3 of them. I am not sure I like him being on the hot list. It's going to make it expensive for me to fill in the gaps on the collection.

Very impressed at Benn's performance lately... You know you can sell the extra to make money to buy newer Benns!

Perhaps I need to start my own hockey player collection; any suggestions? I rather have the new name/rookie...

You could go after James Neal. He was traded from the Stars to the Pens. I think once he gets settled in, he's going to be a huge star there. He's an 08/09 rookie, and you can get his stuff cheap right now. It will probably rocket next season once Malkin and Crosby get healthy. Neal will be a 40 goal guy.

Or look at Bilko's prospect list. You could start getting Brayden Schenn. cfind has his Certified Black patch 1/1 redemption.

(I am getting one case of Ultimate. My first case.)

George if the Cup cards are going for $150 I say you should definitely sell one of yours now. you can always buy it back later when the price goes down.

Neal is going to have a HUGE season next season when he gets to play on a line with Crosby and Kunitz.
