Has anyone watched this movie? I just finished watching and it was a great movie. The storyline follows Miguel "Sugar" Santos and his trip from pitching in the Dominican to the minor leagues and having to conform to american culture and his struggles missing his family back home.

Yes,very good movie besides the captions but that doesn't take away from the movie its great!

just watched it this past weekend. Its definitely a good movie and its also good to see former A's pitcher Jose Rijo again :lol:

A lot more realistic than a bunch of guys in the Dominican speaking english.

Not the whole movie but there is a lot of subtitles.
