Of all the rotten luck. It couldn't have been last weekend when I actually had money???

This might be the first show I miss since living up the street from the convention center.

You mean they dont charge to look around? I think thats the only thing they dont charge you for in Rosemont!! Even the water to flush the toilet includes a surcharge you must pay before you can exit the washroom!!

I will be there Friday to do a small task for seving4theking, and Saturday to get Ron Santo's auto.

This trip won't be as fun as usual since I will be making the 6-hour drive by myself...

Hopefully I can snag a nice Ruth cut to make the trip all the better. :0)

That sucks man I wish I could have made the trip with you again it was a blast last time. But between moving in two weeks and not being able to get off it didn't look I could have did it. Hope you snag a ruth!

Just met the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Skrip himself. Ironically, he staggered into line right behind me...

The show was pretty good today. No complaints on my end, well just one.

The selection was good.

Wax = C - Not a ton of choices among prospect wax

Prospects = B - A decent selection, most of the nice stuff was overpriced. As normal the deals are found in the boxes, hiding, waiting for me to find them.

Vintage = A = As always, a TON of vintage

My Biggest complaint is that their a TON of ruthless, Dbag vendors who elbow out all of the "everyman buyers" so they can try and work deals and get everything they can. This happened to me a couple of times today and I damn near ****** slapped a couple of the little midgets I was towering over.

Also, I can't understand why card collectors are soooo smelly. Why? Can't we all shower like normal people? I can't tell you how many times I was near gagging while rummaging through some $5.00 boxes.

I came up with some good buys, and a nice pull. I will do a seperate thread tommorow with all of my pickups. It is going to take a while to get everything scanned.
