Morning guys. Read Grandma's obit. Didn't realize she was in the Navy. Grandpa was in WWII and Saving Private Ryan pretty much traced his trek thru France until about halfway thru movie. Anyway, 21 grandkids, we all got a shell casing from his 21 Gun Salute. So we'll all get one from Grandma's too. Not sure why I received it, but also have great grandpa's pocket watch he got when he retired. So I'll wear that while being pall bearer. Was also pall bearer for Grandpa. So I think it's cool.

On a similar note. Layover in Chicago last night. Get to to the gate and the attendant was giving me a hard time about Ohio State hat and hoodie. When we start boarding, he says I need to stand aside for a few minutes. After everyone else boards, myself and a few pilots/soldier who are catching a ride home, all got bumped to first class. Makes me think Grandma was smiling then and pulled some strings.

Yes they sure did! The bubble mailer looks like it went through a war zone but no harm done haha. I just got my scanner hooked up again so I hope to scan them today or tomorrow. Thanks again for your help Zach I can't thank you enough.

I'm glad they made it safely! I really do like those cards. They look great in the scans, but in person they look even better. They made me wish that I would have found a Tony Oliva mini or regular base card in time to get signed myself

Good Morning Gents! Woke up to quite a few inches of snow. Good thing I have the next two days off so hopefully it melts from the roads quickly.

Good morning guys. I'm glad I could finally contribute to some other members. Klute and Therion are gonna be getting little items this week, as well as Nick.

And in case you havent seen it in the Thrift thread, I sewed for the first time ever last night. Makin monitor covers out of a thrift shirt. It wasnt too bad, once I read the manual and figured out how to set it up. And sewing tshirt material in a straight line is really hard to do. But I had fun, and heres the finished result.
