Good morning and Happy Easter to everyone and their families!

My parents did surprise me with a bountiful Easter basket this morning. I'm never too old for this.

Glad I moved back to MI (from NY) so to be closer to family after 16 years.

Enjoy your day!

Happy (Y)Easter everyone!

Hope everyone has a great day with family. Spent time working on the Jeep yesterday without getting much accomplished...the ribs turned out AMAZING...fell right off the bone and the marinade was perfect. Today we'll go to my fiance's nanny family house and have dinner with the parents and kiddos...should be a really fun day.

Happy Easter, all.

Have a great day, regardless of what you do!

We might venture up to L.A. today. Not sure yet.

YIKES :? be very careful.
Dave, does LA make you nervous?

all that smog is not good for old folks like Andrew

Not a fan of smog, but more afraid of gridlocked traffic. Chris knows the area well and takes us on interesting shortcuts. Hoping to go to Bob's Big Boy for lunch (the greatest restaurant on the planet, by the way). Also going to see if a few favorite book shops are open today.

PLEASE take a picture of the Big Boy if you go!!

Downtown LA scared the **** outta me  Nothing like 10 foot fences around the USC campus. I much prefered UCLA, tucked away in Beverly Hills
At least this little burrito place we ate at was also frequented by the LAPD

Also, if you guys could keep my health in your thoughts this week.

Seems like the kidneys are possibly getting bad again.

Really hoping that this doesn't make me miss work or have to drop my class, but the discomfort is getting pretty bad lately. :(

Have been working ahead in class to finish up everything early (except the final at the end of May; no speeding that up), just in case I am out of commission. Mostly concerned with the work situation. They are laying people off left and right this semester.

Of course, the trustees allowing the college president to vote himself a pay raise and extra vacation time makes perfect sense. :benson: :benson:

Anyway, good thoughts/wishes/prayers, guys!

Have a good Easter and will maybe post some scans tonight or tomorrow. :)
