Regular health issue last night . UGH but not major . after lunch time hour drive to wife's family gathering . My wife second oldest of their clan . Still trying to work on pool when not raining . Hoping Crawdads home games in two weeks . Only 400 cards need to be priced . NOW REFILL COFFEE .

Morning all, about to go to Harrisburg to the airport to see the air show including the blue angels. We don’t technically have tickets but my brother-in-law works at the airport, so we will be watching from his hangar

I got to see the SHOW in Osh Kosh 1980's . Flew there and drove a car back . THAT was a long day drive home . Last week Hickory airport opened museum . BTW I hate flying .

Lazy, rainy day off here…

I spent 2 years on an aircraft carrier. The navy put on a airshow for us one day. The dropped 500, 1000 and 2000lb bombs. Shot off zuni rockets from a jet (5 inch rockets) and shot 30mm cannon off near the ship. A US destroyer came along side and shot off it's 5" cannons. Occasionally a russian TU-95 bomber would fly close to the carrier.

And a few times russian destroyers would come very close along side the carrier. They did some pretty insane stuff around the carrier. One sped up and cut the carrier off and almost caused a collision.
