Finally recovered from last night. Phew! Now if the bruise on my head would just go away.

Good afternoon guys. Went with my family to pick corn this morning. Spent 5 hours total picking, shucking, boiling, cutting, and bagging the corn. We had at least half of the truck bed full of corn. After today I don't want to see anymore corn for awhile

Hey all, Olympic rant coming!

So, two of the events that I LOVE are the men's decathlon and the women's heptathlon.

I check the "official" TV schedule for NBC to set the Tivothing. The sections that were listed for the heptathlon were completely wrong. I even had an extra hour added on to the front and back of the times listed. Needless to say, I got to see about ten minutes of coverage of the heptathlon.

Why can't there be some way to RELIABLY tell viewers when something will be shown? As far as watching it on the special NBC dealie online, they told me that my password for my system (Verizon FIOS) was wrong, so I can't watch it there either!

I have seen about five minutes of highlights of the longjump, javelin, shot, etc. The only event I saw in its entirety was the 800 and the medal ceremony.

Really pleased to see Jessica Ennis won it as I was rooting for her, but bummed that I missed the coverage.

To my mind, those two events are the most exciting and interesting of the whole track and field section.

Hoping the decathlon coverage will be better.

Hey all, Olympic rant coming!

I just wish NBC would pass the torch (no pun intended) to another broadcaster. There have been so many issues with the coverage that it's not even funny.

just got back from my cousins college graduation pool party. It was alot of fun. We had enough guys to get 5 on 5 volleyball and played 8 solid games. teams I was on went 7-1. Going to be sore tomorrow morning but it was worth it. Took a dip in the pool quick just to get the sweat off and cool off a bit. Back to reality tomorrow and I'm already not liking the idea of having to work. This week was a good one overall both relaxing and fun.
