Good morning everyone. Watched some incredible videos about mental conditions on TED recently which were truly eye opening and ordered Temple Grandin's book "The Autistic Mind". I feel like every piece of info on how different minds work can be useful when trying to teach kids. On that note, school starts in a couple of weeks. May be my last year teaching for a long time (hope to come back to teaching one day when I am wiser and can bring more experiences to what I share with the students) since I will Godwilling finish my MBA this year.

Hope everyone has a nice enjoyable Sunday.

Wow! Thats a long ride from FL to TN for paver stones and a lot of work. I can see 800mg of Advil in your future.

I had to take a flexeril(sp) last night anstill feel it this morning. The paver stones cost him about $3K several years ago. He figured the cost of new ones was far more than renting a truck.

I see, that makes sense. That Flexeril should wear off after about 8 hours normally, if not drink more coffee!

Good morning. I got woke up at 4am and kicked out of my bed by my 5-year old, who saw ghosts in his room and needed to snuggle with his mom. So I went downstairs to the couch. Think it's just adjusting to the new paint job my wife did to their room yesterday, and the new placement of his bunkbed and furniture. Amy is doing a pretty sweet "Army room" for them, all in military green with camoflauge curtains and a hideout bunker for the boys to play Xbox in. They love all things military right now, so they're excited about the new room.

I got a little fishing in yesterday, and mowed the lawn. Not much scheduled for today, maybe dog park, scanning and some website work.

I only take it when I'm in what I consider extreme pain because I hate the feeling of not being in control of what I'm doing. I'm also not a fan of medicated sleep.

Good morning...

Had a great time last night at the Griffey Mariner Hall of Fame induction..

I hope they replay it on Root Sports so I can DVR it.. or better yet, put it on DVD..

by the way, his acceptance speech off the cuff lasted "24" minutes..

I was damn lucky to see him play all those years here in Seattle!

A lawyer opened the door of his BMW, when suddenly a car came along and hit the door, ripping it off completely. When the police arrived at the scene, the lawyer was complaining bitterly about the damage to his precious BMW. "Officer, look what they've done to my Beeeemer!!!", he whined.

"You lawyers are so materialistic, you make me sick!!!" retorted the officer, "You're so worried about your stupid BMW, that you didn't even notice that your left arm was ripped off!!!"

"Oh my gaaad....", replied the lawyer, finally noticing the bloody left shoulder where his arm once was, "Where's my Rolex???!!!!!"

By the time I got there, the bobble heads were already gone.. they only had 20,000 and the game was sold out!!

I already see some on EBAY and they look to be going in the $50 range or so.. unlike the game where he came back and they had all those Griffey flyers, this time they didn't..

You would have enjoyed the ceremony.. then the game started and the M's forgot to show up as we lost to the Brewers 10-0..
