I am happy he is here first off. But I saw a post on FB from the L.A. Times with Howard head down holding a ball, with the other big men jerseys on the rafters behind him...with something like next in line quoted... I am all for him being in L.A. but come on he hasn't signed a long term contract and he hasn't played a game yet. That was stupid of the Times to do. I am glad Nash is there, it will give the Lakers another person who can run the offense. It is going to be an exciting season for Lakers fans as long as they can gel. Otherwise it will be the Reloaded Lakers of a few years ago all over again.

Will be rooting for the Lakers for the first time ever. I'm a Nash fan and only a Nash fan. Love that guy and the way he plays. Once he retires/leaves the Lakers, it's back to Laker-hating:)

I saw that FB post too.. He will resign in LA long term because he would be a fool not to plain and simple. Now they can offer him more than anyone else because he is on their roster and paying the luxury tax is a formality to winning. Nash even at his age will be a game changer.. he can still score when left open, can penetrate and dish, and will be a great ball handler and run the offense. I think you will see alot more Kobe in the post because he won't have to dribble his way into it like in the past. I really think the coach is the only weakness now.. just don't think he has the type of playbook and ability to run a championship calibur team.

As for the Howard to LA convo, you guys are STACKED. Going to give the Heat a run for their money

Yep, good luck, Scott.

Chris starts back first week of Sept. Before that, she and I get to unpack the 332 boxes of books we singlehandedly packed for the move to the new school.

She will be opening two different school libraries this year by herself. :???:

Translation= Andrew should lift with his knees.
