Good mornin' everyone, a bit chilly in my house! Brr


Meeting a friend for lunch today then later on going golfing with my best friend who is pretty damn good at golf. We have a money bet going on, 9 holes right handed and then 9 holes left handed [vice versa for my friend]. I am a southpaw but can actually hit a golf ball right handed which is pretty cool. My friend can hit a ball lefty alright himself, although....when money is on the line I am at the top of my game... :mrgreen:

Good morning guys. I had a great night last night. My wife and I got a sweet hotel downtown for $50 from priceline and went to the Astros game. Oswalt got hurt but it was GREAT to see Load 'Em Up Lidge blow one for the visiting team.

Morning all,

This is the last weekend of my summer vacation/layoff. Semester begins on Tuesday and I will actually have to work again!!! :shock:

Anyway, spent (Chris says wasted) nine hours yesterday watching replays of games 1, 3, and 4 of the 1974 World Series on MLB Network. So cool to revisit a time when the world made sense! (Being seven years old at the time, I guess it would seem to make more sense; no worries, responsibilities, etc.) I can remember seeing some of those games at the time and being sad that the Dodgers lost. Great to see favorite players like Jimmy Wynn, Steve Garvey, Davey Lopes, Joe Ferguson, Rollie Fingers, Joe Rudi, etc. in their prime. Only complaint is that they didn't show games 2 and 5.

Nothing much planned today; maybe shopping for dog food.

How much you think it will go for, Anthony?

Depends on how many people get involved, but I could see it selling realistically in the $160ish to $170ish range I would say. At the same time, with such a high starting bid, people may stay away and it could go for less. Let's just say outside of an Orange or Red Refractor auto, this is my #1 Pence auto to own (even over his Hot Prospects and SP Prospects stuff). I jsut love the Sweet spot stuff and these just look GREAT.

I have it bookmarked so I will be following it. Let's just say I would be willing to spend mightily on it. I am currently trying to see what kind of money I could get together with what little amount of stuff I have to move.
