wild applause!Don't know what game you are getting, I am watching the Wild Card race double header in St Lou.
Yeah who the heck wants to watch one of the best teams in baseball vs a division rival
Give me Astros v. Padres any day of the week
The "right way"?People who don't live on the East coast
People who want to watch baseball that actually matters
People that respect a team that gets it done the "right way" and not the Yankees vs Yankees Jr.
Somewhat amusing but using the contract #'s from ESPN. The Oakland A's team makes less than the New York Yankees DL.
The "right way"?
I know what he means, however, it is absurd.he means winning without buying your whole team. sadly its just part of the era.

It gets better ratings which means more people are interested in this than other games. Annoying, but population distribution plus big rivalry and it always sells...
Agreed. It's as simple as that. When more people starting watching the Orioles vs Tigers....Pirates vs. Cardinals...or Braves vs. Dodgers than the Yankees vs. Red Sox....ESPN will air those games on a more regular basis. But for now....they are going where the viewers are.
don't worry, you are a slave to ESPN no matter what on sunday nights. the SNB game is usually the only game going on (sans a night game in Texas occasionally) so SNB is pretty much exclusive every week. SNB also has national blackouts so even if there were another game starting at the same time as SNB, you'd be blacked out in your out of market package. You could only watch the rangers or their opponents in a game up against SNB if you lived in the region of one of those teams and had your local RSN in your pay tv package. For the record, living in NY I kinda wish I'd get more out of market games on Sunday night...
I live on the east coast, am a Yankees fan(2nd favorite team) and I have been sick of this rivalry for years. It is the most overhyped and manufactured rivalry going.
