Who is this Juan Portes kid on the Twins? He's a .300 hitter in the minors, and has 2 HR and 6 RBI today. Been solid so far through spring training. After looking at his stats, I think I like this kid. If he keeps it up, maybe he'll have a shot at the show in 2011. He is pushing 25 though

I couldn't be happier that he's tearing up spring training, starting with crushing a homer in his first AB in the exhibition game...but he's now batting .400 and it sounds like he's showing the power regularly.

On the flipside, looks like Bonderman was awful today giving up 6 ER and not even making it out of the 1st inning.
