Come join us this Sunday for pre Super Bowl excitement and more at the East Cobb Sports Collectibles Show! here's what we have planned for the day in addition to our great selection of vintage and current card issues and autographed collectibles:
Raffle drawings equal to the number of show vendors from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (as of this email we have 12). There is a catch...winners of the drawings have to show their "skills" by throwing a football through an obstacle or...by answering a sports trivia question! Then you get a minimum $7.00 freebie to spend at one of our vendor tables.
We're also going to have a Super Bowl Grid (don't know what it is? Go here - http://www.docsports.com/current/super-bowl-squares.html). The first 100 customers to the show will get to pick a square for free. Players will have 2 chances to win - half time and end of game scores of the
Super Bowl. Half-time winner will receive a Braves autographed package including Dale Murphy and Otis Nixon cards, and Julio Franco bat card and autographed Yunel Escobar Bowman rookie card. The final score winner will receive a GEM-MT 10 Upper Deck rookie card of future
Hall-of-Famer, Ken Griffey, Jr. Since the show will be over before
the Super Bowl even starts, winners can pick up their prizes at
the North Atlanta Show on Feb. 20 or the East Cobb Show on March 13.
Thanks go to Ron Levesque for the donations!
Also of note: Our wax dealer, Steve Wrate, will have the just released 2011 Topps Series 1 baseball hobby boxes. Vendor, Charlie Heinisch, will be having a buy one-get one free football offer at his table. For those of you who collect non-sports and personality cards, James Sanchez will be setting-up. And, be sure to let Evan Feuerstein know your hobby supply needs by Friday morning([email protected] /404.642.8663).
So make plans to stop by on Sunday for a day of fun, excitement
and of course, great deals!
