Re: Supercollector Newsletter

For the next issue I want to add a reference section of player collector websites. If you would like to have your site included, just post it here and it will be included.

Re: Supercollector Newsletter

I am a Barry Sanders collector and I thank you very much for this forum, newsletter and database. The player collector sites are awesome. I am a Houston Astros fan as they are my Dad's favorite team and I grew up around watching them. My favorite Astros players were Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio. I love finding cameo/guest appearance cards of Barry Sanders much like it seems you do with Jeff Bagwell cards. I collect pretty much 1 of everything of Barry Sanders if he is on it such as books, posters, plates, cups, cards, figures, boxes, wrappers etc.

These sites are not mine but I enjoy them very much for my Barry Sanders collecting. I'll have to get a website for my own collection someday.

Welcome to the boards. Those are a couple of nice Sanders sites.

One interesting set that I'd never heard of is the 1990 British Petroleum Football cards. I'll have to add it to the catalog.

Do you have a cameo guest appearance list started for football cards yet?

There are actually 2 different versions of the 1990 British Petroleum Football cards.

I saw that. I picked up a copy of each variation on COMC. Is one rarer than the other?

COMC stands for the website checkoutmycards.com right?

I believe the black back with the rules is the rarer version of the cards as I have seen the $10,000 advertisement back version card offered for sale far more often.
