I love the look of supers. I'd take a super over an auto.

Yeah super gets my vote too... BUT is the super a first year card?

Shep :ugeek:
Same year. The "which Strasburg is worth more" argument is what lead me to start this.

I didn't use Stras as an example to answer this question.

I thought about 2006, deciding between a Cameron Maybin 1/1 red auto or a bowman chrome superfractor.

I decided I'd rather have an on-card autograph 1/1 over a shiny chrome card that's not autographed, if they are from the same year.

its close for me, but I say super for its uniqueness. just take the super, and then go out and get a blue auto and paint the tiny rim. :)

I'd definitely go auto, it just brings more to the table (it's not just a plain piece of cardboard, it is a piece of cardboard with ink smudging's on it)! :P

Super without question.

The Bowman chrome superfractor is one of the few massively iconic issues within the entirety of our hobby, and probablly the most sought after at that. Despite it being a non auto, the iconic nature of the elusive superfractor will dictate that it will be 'the one'.

If the card is purchased with the plan of reselling, I will take the auto. If it is for my collection, I would rather have the super by a LONG shot.
