You guys might have a different take, but doesn't it seem strange that someone with a ZERO feedback snipes a card for $70? It's odd to me that a new member comes out of the gate sniping, and for a card of that value.

What do you make of it?

Bid was made with only a few seconds to go.

Newbies tend to bid like that and can get lucky. He could have had his finger hovering over his mouse button until the last second.

doesn't mean it was a snipe I watch auctions all the time and bid with in the last few sec.

That's still sniping. Whether done manually or electronically, bidding in the last few seconds is sniping and I doubt a shiller is going to snipe.

Right, my point was the last second bid. And also that it was done by a zero-feedback account. I have to imagine this was not a newbie, rather someone's 2nd, 3rd, etc account.

As far as shilling, I think you're probably right as well. I'm pretty hesitant to come out and accuse someone, but the circumstances are unusual.
