looks like the auction ended. guess someone took the bait at $900?

I'm shocked that the seller has 135 feedback and doesn't really know how to sell an item.

1. Don't ask for $800 and then when you get an offer suddenly ask for more--set up a Best Offer if you want to fish
2. Don't list a high-end item if you don't know what you are listing (eg, do your diligence with Bowman beforehand)
3. For gosh sakes don't list a superfractor as a gold chrome auto!

What a weird sale! I offered him 350 when it first showed up on eBay and he said yes. Obviously that didn't come to fruition. Wonder how long it will be before it's up on eBay again?

Same. I hope the person purchasing the card, makes the seller label the invoice correctly. There is no way I'd purchase it if the seller insisted that the invoice state the card to be a Swihart Gold Refractor Auto as I know happened to at least one potential buyer.

I wonder if that was their motive the entire time.

Get the best offer off eBay, and send that person a gold auto. Otherwise, I have no idea why this would be labeled a gold refractor ::facepalm::

I've seen(and bought) worse listings for Superfractor Autographs.

If it was an off ebay deal, it doesn't matter in the slightest what the ebay listing said. But I would hope the person buying it would right Swihart Super Auto or Swihart Auto /1 in the heading of the paypal payment. Even if they didn't, if the seller sent a gold, the buyer would still likely win a not as described suit

I personally wouldn't be willing to put $850 down on that bet.

It wouldn't be a slam dunk for the buyer to win the case, and given the $850 price tag-I would stay far, far away. That is just me, though.

I agree, I have as well but in the event of making an off-Ebay deal, there is no way I'm going to agree to a Paypal invoice stating anything other than what it is that I am purchasing.
