Anyother premiere prospects slumpt like this in recent memory?

Cameron Maybin was on pace to strike out over 200 times and had zero power before he was sent down earlier this year.

Two seasons in A ball and can't hit above .200. :?

For a positive case I would look no further than Josh Vitters. Started his pro career going 6 for 51, which included a 2 for 30 stretch in the AZL - then started the following year in extended spring training because of concerns with the bat. Pretty decent turnaround since.
