LOL. Are you kidding me?

Crosby has a ton of talent-but the Tigers have rushed him like crazy. After dominating the MWL in 2009, he sat out pretty much all of 2010 with elbow soreness or something. They then skip him over High A, and send him to AA to start 2011. Absolutely stupid. Then send him to AAA to start 2012, again stupid. Call him up too early.

He's going to be fine-but he's been one level too high for 2 years straight. Since going back down to AAA, he's been lights out. I think Crosby could be a nice power lefty, either as a SP or a really good RP.

No? Are you kidding me? His 4.7 BB/9 backs up my statement. This is his first good year he has had in the minors since 2009 when he 10-4 with a 2.41 ERA.

Last year he had an ERA over four and walked 5.3 batters per-nine. Walking that many hitters you will never have success in the major leagues. Like I said, HE BLOWS!

I hope this doesn't happen, but it would be typical Cubs fashion to baby along a prospect like Vitters only to trade him before he gets a chance.

So yesterday the Cubs were talking around here, that they are looking for a Major League relay 3rd baseman so I would think they are not looking at Vitters in this date and time........So i think he would be in the talk of a trade for now......

Did you read my post? Because it sounds like you didn't.

He has been RUSHED for the last 2 years. How many times do you see a guy miss a full year, and then the following year get skipped a level? That is just plain stupid. So, for the last 2 years, he has been one level ahead of where he needs to be.

He has never had GREAT walk numbers, but being 1 level too high the last 2 years will lead to a much worse walk rate than he should have.

You clearly have never watched him pitch. I watched him for a full season with the Whitecaps in 2009-and let me tell you this: his stuff was better with the Whitecaps than Jacob Turners-and we are talking a guy throwing power stuff from the left side. Lefties with his stuff don't grow on trees.

Rather than just looking at stats, try putting things into context.

By the way-do you know Verlander's numbers from his first year in the majors? You were probably saying he blows, right? I'm not saying Crosby will be Verlander, because he won't. I would flat out challenge you to find one single scout who agrees with you. One. That's it.

Verlander had TWO starts in 2005, that's why his numbers were terrible. You look Verlander's minor league numbers; A LOT better tan anything Crosby has put up. I think YOU need look at Crosby's stats from the minors because this is his first good year since 2009. And once again his walk numbers are too high and he is never going to develop into a pitcher with good command.

Are they the same scouts that talked about Andrew Miller's great stuff? Or predicted Cameron Maybin to be a five tool star?

One more time: HE BLOWS!

I've watched Casey Crosby pitch before, too. Un-impressed.

If you like the kid that much -- more power to you. All I see is Ryan Perry number two.
