Tapout Founder Mask Killed in Car Accident

Apparently he was driving his $300,000 Ferrari too fast and lost control and crashed.

A female passenger was thrown from the car, but, she is alive still.

He was killed instantly from most accounts

According MMAweekly he was involved in an accident with another car which fled the scene. The car was found and the driver was arrested for vehicular manslaughter.

It's such a sad day for the MMA world. People loved to hate on the Tapout crew for their crazy antics, but that was/is what punched their meal ticket to the mainstream. They have done so much for the sport of MMA, all while being the most recognized name, outside of the UFC.

I couldn't agree more!
I loved the guys. They are far from normal and that's what makes them so freakin' awesome. And they did something they loved which is what it's all about. How can you hate them for that. Haters will be haters though.

It really is sad and Mask will be missed.

I'll be honest, the guy got on my nerves to no end when I watched the TapOut show on Versus. The thing about him that bothered me was him always screaming peoples names, like Cowboy's. That drove me nuts.

But when I read this the other day, I was very saddened. I am used to things like this happening in the pro wrestling world, but not MMA. So when I hear that people like Evan Tanner and Mask have died, I am very saddened.

Like this morning, I read that former WWF Superstar Andrew 'Test' Martin was found dead in his apartment. And it's terrible but I wasn't even surprised. The first thought that came to my mind was it was either suicide, heart failure due to steroid abuse, or an overdose. I am just used to it in the wrestling world.
