Glad to see Votto ripping the ball.

Sad to see Harang up to his old tricks. I won't even mention Lincoln still being on this club.

Pissed that it's going to be another long year for Indians fans.....

But psyched that Chief Wahoo will keep smiling that winning smile no matter how bad the team sucks.

Bizzare post - I know, but...

I was psyched to see the play of Beltre, Scuturo and Cameron for the redsox. I thought they were all excellent pick ups despite the fact that many I spoke to over the winter thought the redsox did nothing to improve their team. I don't think they really knew much about these three guys. I think they are all going to have a tremendously positive impact on the team. I think I saw Beltre get to, field and make a great play on a ball that was over in Scuturo's territory at one point in the game! I was like I thought he played 3rd? LOL.

As for disapointment, I was disappointed to see Ellsbury in left filed, instead of center. Nothig to do with play (though I think he has some adjustments to make as he learns how to play that position at Fenway), but rather just used to seeing him in center and his great play there.

Ok - the bizarre part - I was disappointed to see Joba have difficulty. I feel for this kid. I really do. I think the Yankees are screwing with his head putting him in different roles - much like I think the sox are going to do with Buchholz. The difference is I think Buchholz will be fine with the transitions and I think Joba isn't. Also have to wonder if something is physically wrong with him? I'd like to see him succeed.

Additional disappointments: I will have to listen to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver on Fox. I will have to listen to Joe Morgan on ESPN. Curt Schilling is eating too well. I'm confessing I like Derek Jeter and think he's a superb ball player and a great example of what all players should strive to be like in terms of professionalism. The redsox line up doesn't have Albert Pujols in it.

Ok - done.

Lovin' that the Giants start the season 1-0.

Pissed that Medders gave up runs and blew the shutout.

Cubs.

Nice to see Byrd and Ramirez produce. Was somewhat undecided about the Byrd free agent signing.

Zambrano, seriously couldn't even get through 2 innings? ::facepalm:: Bullpen was awful today as well.

Pissed that bum Soriano is still playing for us as well.

Couldn't agree more. Z is supposed to pitch like Halladay or Lincecum... instead Zambrano is the most overpaid #3 starter in baseball. Cubs have not really had an ace since Prior fell apart in 2003... or really since Maddux left in 1992.
