TEARING OPEN A PATCH CARD

Just curious if any one has ever opened up a patch card....

Not that anyone would open up a patch card like this one, but does anyone know if the patches underneath are square and how close they trim them to the size of the numbers? It doesn't look like there would be much room for material in between the numbers...

I opened a few jersey cards and they cut them in squares a little bigger then the window.

yea, i think the shapes and letters are only in the card, not the actually jersey/patch.

I've ripped open bat cards, jersey cards, patches.. and I'd proly rip that one open too, if it wasn't for other collectors perceived value of it and the money that could be made. They've all been cut into squares like the person said above.
