As Florida quarterback Tim Tebow continues to prepare for the NFL, one of the men who already holds a starting quarterback job at the highest level of the sport has a strong opinion on the subject.

"My judgment is that he's not an NFL quarterback," Henne told Curtis Stevenson and Anita Marks of WQAM in Miami regarding Tebow. "I'll leave it at that."

Wow.

Making Henne's opinion more compelling is the fact that his position coach, David Lee, is one of the men who are helping Tebow become that which Lee's primary pupil says Tebow isn't.

And suddenly we hope Tebow lands in the AFC East.

Henne out dueled him in the Capital One Bowl back in 2008.

I would think in his 2 years in the league he has enough experience from starting and being around the game to judge what a NFL QB looks like. This is a popular opinion about Tebow anyways, he just might be the first player to go on record saying it.

Who cares what he says its not like he said anything out of line or demeaning. To be honest hes right according to almost everyone that has anything to do with the draft or the nfl. There are very few people that project him as a starting qb and really anythig more then a project. Henne is entitled to his opinion just like all of us are.

Tebow will be a backup for someone....just like Henne would have been if Pennington didn't get injured....Henne isn't really "NFL QB" material either...his lack of talent is being covered up by the Wildcat....just my opinion...I'm kinda pulling for Tebow though...I hope he turns out to have a good NFL career....but it's not likely going to be as a QB.

eeehhh..... Don't see where there is anything positive in making that comment, so wish he'd have just kept his mouth shut.

Maybe the comment was fueled by having to watch Pat White's ineptitude last year trying to transition from the college to pro game.

The video I saw of his "Pro" day..... I agree with Henne.

He isnt a NFL QB.... a slash/wildcat type player yea... QB no.

Look at all the "running" QBs from the past.... they start off one way... get injured cuz they are playing with MEN... not boys.... and eventually are out of the league or become pocket passers. When a team pays you $8M a year and u miss 40-60% of the season cuz of an injury due. And the next season the same thing happens.... you wont be the starter for long.

Completing less than 50% of your passes is terrible. The only starting passer to not hit 50% of his throws last year was Jamarcus Russell. The rushing yards are a decent boost, but in a job with passing efficiency as a prerequisite, he would be deemed a dismal failure in that department.

And he broke the record for use of the word "blessing" in a 5 minute interview session on NFL Network. I think he said it 24 times in that 300 second discussion with Mayock and Co.

Thats his fault lol. I just found it odd throwing the word Reverend in there was a jab at his faith. Faith/Weight/sexual orientation/baldness/wealth etc.. such easy targets
