He can pray all he wants, he will never be good. Right Danny Wuerffle?

Don't speak so soon man. Alot can happen in the draft, but I could easily see Tebow getting taken by the Vikings. Favre is good for what? 1 more season? That is, if he doesn't ruin his welcome before this year is over..

Tarvaris Jackson isn't the answer..
I see the vikes getting Mccoy

Speaking from a non-financial standpoint, I hoped he would have accepted the invite to the Senior Bowl already (didn't see his name anywhere). Even though it crushed the stocks of flawed mechanic QB's like Andre Woodson and Colt Brennan in the past, it would be helpful to at least see him take some more pro-style snaps under center. If he shows a knack to learn and adjust quickly, it'll positively influence his stock with a number of teams. It'll look much better if scouts know he's out there to improve rather than hide his areas of unfamiliarity. Teams could also look at him for other areas like Pat White did last year, while still maintaining his want to play QB first.

However, more realistically speaking, I doubt he wants to rush right into that kind of scrutiny, and might not damage his stock much at all if he gets with a pro-style mechanics QB guru for his draft preparation, gearing up for the combine and individual team workouts instead.

Billick pretty much summed up what he needed to change on the Cincy/UF broadcast. Tebow needs to tighten up the throwing motion. It takes too long to deliver the ball with the big windup, holding it where he does, and then in the delivery itself. In addition, he'll have to start from scratch in terms of footwork, reads, and terminology when he hits the pro's. But learning the common X's and O's of the game is something I wouldn't doubt Tebow in doing, since he is a strong-willed individual.

He has a lot of work ahead of him. With that taken into consideration, I voted no on the poll.

He will never make it as a QB in the NFL. I don't know why people assume he can be a TE, he's never had to catch passes and who knows how good his hands are. He's never had to block anyone either, let alone an NFL DE or LB. I'd never draft him.

Hasnt Jackonsville said they would pick him in the first round? Someone told me that, but IDK if its true. To be honest I think someone like Tebow will be fine anywhere he goes or whatever he has to play. He is a physical specimen and a great athlete. He will be fine.
if he falls to the 4th or later round i wouldnet mind at all if Arizona took him

Tebow will be gone well before the 4th round. I don't know what position he'll play, or well he'll play it, but he won't fall that far.

he won't make it out of the first

SOMEONE will take that risk

Agreed. how many times he does 225 at the combine

Favre may only be good for one more season, but a ridiculous project like Tebow is a horrible move. I dont think I am down and out on Jackson anymore as Favre's tutoring is second to none. I say you have to decide quickly, but I would not even think about making a move this year. There will be just as many QBs next year, and it gives you one more chance to look at what TJack can bring to the table after Favre leaves.

Improbable, but I want to see a backfield with Vick and Tebow at the same time. Each player could possibly throw, run or catch the ball on each play. That would be fun to watch.

Why do people assume Tebow has the hands to catch balls as a TE or receiver? When has he ever done this in a game?

Why do people think he'll be able to block NFL DEs and LBs? When has he ever done this in a game?

Pretty silly to think he can do either, and even more silly to draft him on his potential to do it over countless other college players who can. There is no chance he is an NFL QB. His best chance is to find a team desperate for help at the gate...enter the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The words Tavaris Jackson and NFL QB don't belong in the same sentence, paragraph or zipcode.

Then, at the same time, you take the ball out of the QB who can actually play.

If you could pick up one player in the draft and turn 7 home games that were blacked out, into 8 sell outs would you
do it? There is no way that Jacksonville would pass this guy up in the 1st round.
