RCs are my focus, yeah. Lately I've been trying to, instead of just sending 1 RC, add other cards because, well, why just get one card signed if I can get a few more? Also helps justify postage, although a "free" auto pretty much does anyway.

Sometimes I stray away from RCs, but not usually. That's kinda my grounding point but if I can gather enough of the cards I really like for one player I'll send out non RC cards of like A & G, Chrome, Heritage, Prizm, and other shiny or retro looking cards but tend to stick to RCs and throw in whatever I can find laying around in too.

I try to send out only doubles of cards I have so I don't risk losing cards or putting (more) holes in sets.

But with all that said, even with RCs as my focus, I am happy with anything I can get my hands on as I am really just focusing on collecting autos lately - of anyone and everyone andddd that's pretty much why my returns end up being all over the place.

Soon I may run out of extra RCs and will have to think of what to do with coming up with another way to go about it until more RCs pop up.

I picked RCs because I just assumed they would be more desired or worth more. I have no intention of selling or trading any of my autos though.

But I do know that a lot of these players, if not most, are not "desired" or worth anything anyway.

I'm so stuck on making sure I send out a RC in every envelope but sometimes I think, does it really matter? What do you think?

For some reason I feel like I HAVE to send out a RC or it will end up not being worth it, however, if I sent out non-RCs I would have tons and tons of cards to send out. Plus, there may be a lot of players I may not end up with duplicate RCs that I'd miss out on simply because I'm obsessive, stubborn, and stuck in my ways lol ugh the struggle within

I send out 2 TTM a week two retired players just to break up the dread of only seeing bills in my mailbox and the IP routine . I always go to 90 Leaf, 87 Topps, and 89 Topps. I pick players a lot of time based on how difficult they were when they were active. Great example of this is Shawon Dunston and Glenn Hubbard.

It seems of what little value of TTM graphs is based on set and year rather then RC. I seem to have no problem trading doubles of my 87 Topps and 89 Upper Deck.
