I dont understand when they say this...why dont they get it certified themselves and make potentially even more money if theyre so sure its authentic??? :?: :?:
because more than likely it will fail and as long as the seller timed it right you lose 100% of your money with no recourse once 45 days is up.LuckySlugger said:Mizzourah said:Anybody have an opinion on this signature? Often the cost of authentication is not worth the increased sale price. IIRC, the cost to authenticate Williams is $75 or so (plus shipping.) May just be cheaper this way (and certainly easier.) I had a book signed by Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Musial, and a couple others that I was certain was authentic, but was never willing to shell out the $$ to get it graded since it probably would not have sold for enough more to make it worthwhile.LuckySlugger said:Mizzourah said:Anybody have an opinion on this signature? Just the Mantle was really pricey. Not sure exactly how they price things like that but once I saw the price of the Mantle I decided it was not worth it.A_Pharis said:Topnotchsy said:Often the cost of authentication is not worth the increased sale price. For a multiple-auto item don't you only have to pay for the most expensive signature?
