As far as I know, this is only the second to appear. Someone on here bought one, listed it, then pulled it off, don't know the price or situation.

they weren't too excited. I know its not there card but TED WILLIAMS!

Yeah, these guys break so much wax that they're pretty numb to the whole "big hit high" that most of us get. He breaks probably $1k worth of cards a day for various regular customers.

I don't think anybody realized what a sought after card they had just pulled. They got up a bit more for the Elway/Namath/Brady triple auto than they did for this one.

Yeah, I saw that break earlier in the day and I was shocked at lack of emotion. I no longer have any interest in collecting GU cards, but I definitely gave a big "oooh," when that thing was pulled. I believe this one's much better than the one shown here at FCB?

They break $1,000s in wax every day. That was excited for them.
That's as excited as they get for 1/1s or anything else.

I don't think that Chris collects a whole lot of cards. I think he's more into basketball cards. "Tattoo" does more football than anything and is a big Tomlinson fan. I can understand that they didn't get excited. They have been the same way with Sidney Crosby autos, Michael Jordan autos, Lebron autos etc.

Yeah, Chris showed off his player collection of a low-tier Basketball player, a few months back. I understand where they're coming from, when they don't consider the Ted patch, incredible.

Yeah, I have a feeling these Ted patches come from his coaching days. The fabric looks way too new.

Could be an "old timers day" jersey as well. Even if Ted put it on for all of 5 minutes to step on the field, wave his hand, step off, and take the jersey off, MLB considers it an "official" game. ::facepalm:: Went round and round with Topps on this. Its an MLB thing.
