Great Day, finally Jerra made a good move. Romo will emerge now, don't let the door hit you on the way out TO.

I don't know what to think. The fact that Roy Williams is the 1 WR is a depressing thought. Its even more depressing that the Cowboys traded away there 1,3,5,and 6 picks away. I'm curious to see how this will affect the team, but as a Cowboys fan, I am not too pleased with the move.

Pretty sure it is just 1 3 and 6?

Roy Williams has #1 WR talent, I'm just pissed at how we used him after what we gave up for him. He better catch 200 balls and 30 TDs to make that trade worthwhile for us.

How anyone can expect a WR to come into a new system halfway thru a season and contribute is dumb. Give the guy a training camp and time to work with Romo.

Yea..... Maybe now Romo won't look away from a wide open Roy Williams to throw it to a double-covered TO. Romo needs to grow a pair of balls. If he wasn't so worried about keeping Owens happy, and was an actual leader the Cowboys would have gone to the playoffs, at least.

This brilliant move also makes it a little tougher to sign Ware to an extension due the the cap penalties....

Exactly, thats why its a great move....Witten is good for 10 catches a game, we have a young Roy Williams, good compliment WRs, another good catching TE in Bennett and will probably use the 2nd or 3rd pick on a WR. They'll be in good shape.

HAHA roy williams does not have #1 talent, he doesnt try hard enough or work hard enough in the off season, beleive me you will see it in the upcoming season.

Winning a Super Bowl does not make you a great QB. Obviously it helps, but make or break you, no chance. Dan Marino is one of the top three QBs all-time, Trent Dilfer & Mark Rypien are not in the top 200.

Giants had a great D that year, the front four getting to Brady was outstanding. All you need to do to see how great of a QB Eli is? Check the stats. He actually did improve to mediocre last year though, so that was good. Kept his INTs down, increased his YPA. If he keeps improving sure, he may be good, but as of now he is severely overrated.

My point was, he had the chances to contribute, but Romo did not get him the ball when he was open, he was trying to force it to Owens. If we actually utilized Williams, it would have taken heat off of Owens also.

KOBEAR- Roy Williams does have #1 talent, whether he works at it or not is another story, but he has the talent to be a #1 WR.

I wonder if Dan Marino would trade all those individual honors for one super bowl ring?

I thought i would never say this but bring TO back to Philly, let McNabb finish his legacy as an Eagle with a SB win. :geek:
