I don't know what to think. The fact that Roy Williams is the 1 WR is a depressing thought. Its even more depressing that the Cowboys traded away there 1,3,5,and 6 picks away. I'm curious to see how this will affect the team, but as a Cowboys fan, I am not too pleased with the move.

Pretty sure it is just 1 3 and 6?

Roy Williams has #1 WR talent, I'm just pissed at how we used him after what we gave up for him. He better catch 200 balls and 30 TDs to make that trade worthwhile for us.
Yea, your right about the picks. My bad.

Lol. I'm flustered over this too. I honestly hope Kitna has Romo's job by week 5.

as a cowboys fan, why do this. fine, if the chemistry is what you are shooting for but he could still put up numbers.

and if you knew you were going to do this, why didnt you do this earlier so you could go after tj housh or l coles. why wait. they should have done this last week and then made a play at one of these receivers that could have helped. tj can catch and go into the middle. coles has speed and both of those will compliment roy williams's play as a great hands and 3rd down receiver.

oh well. go boys.

the most overrated QB with a SB MVP ;)

Winning a Super Bowl does not make you a great QB. Obviously it helps, but make or break you, no chance. Dan Marino is one of the top three QBs all-time, Trent Dilfer & Mark Rypien are not in the top 200.

Giants had a great D that year, the front four getting to Brady was outstanding. All you need to do to see how great of a QB Eli is? Check the stats. He actually did improve to mediocre last year though, so that was good. Kept his INTs down, increased his YPA. If he keeps improving sure, he may be good, but as of now he is severely overrated.

I wonder if Dan Marino would trade all those individual honors for one super bowl ring?[/quote:1varxel0]

I'm sure he would, it still has nothing to do with the amount of talent either player has...

easy #1 talent and lets see how my dear cowboys will do with ROMEO at the helm. the leader of the AMERICA'S TEAM is a guy who looked like he didnt even care anymore and apparently was one who the staff was saying that didnt even work hard anymore. or not like he did last year. ROMO got happy, big, and thought that he could do it without having to try. the weight of the COWBOYS world is on TONY'S shoulders. lets see how this goes in the new stadium with 95.000+ chanting for another QB after ROMO blows it. instead of 65,000, now its 95,000. and im happy to say that i am going to be one of those fans screaming for Romo's head after everyone takes notice that it was the dont care anymore QB.

I hope Jerry has a backup plan for WR, and other places since he squandered so many picks on a steaming pile of cat feces, or I will be disowning the Cowboys. I used to be a Jets fan (they were my AFC team). Then they signed Favre - I was no longer a Jets fan, and god rid of all of my Jets collection I could. -insert line of profanity here- to you Jerry Jones

This is Romo's make or break year of his career. He steps up, leading the cowboys to the playoffs or is he another product of TO. If he sucks, then I think they draft a QB very very early. I would actually really consider drafting Freeman or Bomar in this draft.

I have NEVER been a fan of T.O. He is annoying as crap, because he never can shut up.

Why didnt the Cowboys just shop him around for a few picks or something? He has value, anything is better than nothing.

Not to mention that by releasing him they have to eat $9 mil.
